Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the terms on which you may access our Services and is effective from the moment you access https://piggypay.io and/ or its use .
Please check the User Agreement to find out the meaning of certain words .
1. Limited activities
1.1 You may use our Services only for lawful purposes . You may not use our Services :
• in any manner that violates any applicable local , national or international laws or regulations or causes Piggy Pay to violate any applicable laws or regulations ;
• in any manner that is unlawful or fraudulent , or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect ;
• with the purpose of causing harm or attempting to cause harm to minors in any way;
• for anything that is offensive , harmful or does not comply with our content standards ;
• for any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising , promotional materials or any other form of spam ;
• deal with malicious software such as viruses , spyware or similar computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware ;
• in any manner that would avoid the payment of any applicable taxes at the local or international level or would facilitate tax evasion .
1.2. Unsupported businesses and transactions
The restrictions below do not apply to legitimate transactions using Piggy Pay or Piggy Pay Card. For more information on acceptable use of Piggy Pay Card see Piggy Pay add-on Card to the Client Agreement .
We do not support businesses or transactions that fall into any of the following categories , such businesses or transactions may be rejected . While this list is representative , it is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to refuse our services to any clients who exceed our risk tolerance .
1.2.1 Regulated or Illegal Products and Services
Adult content .
• Pornography and other visual content that depicts sexually explicit activity .
• Services of a sexual nature (webcams , chats , prostitution, escort , etc.).
• Establishments with a sexual focus ( massage parlors , strip clubs , gentlemen's clubs ).
• Alcohol business .
• Payments for the sale of alcohol to retail customers are not supported .
• Tobacco products .
• Hemp.
• Products containing CBD.
• Any other products or services related to the legal trade of marijuana .
• Certain controlled substances or other products that pose a risk to consumer safety .
• Smart drugs , nootropic supplements .
• Substances that produce effects similar to those of illegal drugs (kratom, khat, etc.)
• Anabolic steroids and peptides .
• Drug paraphernalia .
• Any equipment , product or material intended for the manufacture , use or concealment of drugs .
• Pharmaceuticals .
• Nutraceuticals , pseudo-pharmaceuticals and other products containing unsubstantiated health claims that have not been approved or reviewed by the appropriate regulatory agency .
• Online pharmacies.
• Pharmaceuticals available only by prescription .
• Payments for sales of pharmaceutical products to retail customers are not supported .
• Chemicals .
• Chemical products of mass consumption .
• Counterfeit or unauthorized goods .
• Unauthorized sale of designer and / or branded products .
• Sale of illegally imported or exported goods .
• Gambling .
• Lotteries .
• Fantasy sports are sports with cash prizes .
• Gambling with cash prizes .
• Sale of in-game currency by unauthorized sellers .
• Any type of gambling payments or business related to Turkey , USA , Canada , United Arab Emirates or Singapore .
• Any other type of business related to gambling , at the discretion of Piggy Pay.
• Violation of intellectual property rights or property rights .
• Any product or service that directly infringes or facilitates the infringement of the copyright , patent, trademark , trade secret , proprietary or privacy rights of any third party .
• Products and services that are not legal in the jurisdiction in which they are offered .
1.2.2. Financial and other professional services
• Binary options .
• Depository services .
• Using a Piggy Pay account as an escrow account .
• Marketplaces from countries outside of Canada, the European Economic Area and / or the European Union or the United States at the discretion of Piggy Pay .
Enterprises providing financial services or any enterprises carrying out activities :
• Transfer of money or any representation of monetary value on behalf of third parties .
• Cashing checks .
• Platforms that allow trading and /or exchanging FX/CFD/ options .
• Banks - shells .
• Pension funds .
• Syndicates .
Trust and company service providers involved in :
Opening accounts on behalf of other companies .
Establishment of an offshore company .
Use of nominee directors and / or shareholders to conceal company ownership .
Any other financial services carried out without a license , if required .
1.2.3. Restrictions on Virtual Asset Transactions
Prohibition of Transactions Involving Virtual Assets and Cryptocurrencies
To comply with regulatory requirements, ensure security, and prevent illegal activities, our company strictly prohibits the use of its services for processing, conducting, mediating, or otherwise facilitating transactions involving virtual assets, including but not limited to:
• Cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other digital assets);
• Tokens and digital coins issued through Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) or other mechanisms;
• Payments involving cryptocurrency exchanges, trading platforms, or virtual asset wallets;
• Transactions utilizing blockchain technology, including those involving Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and other smart contracts.
We do not support transactions where virtual assets are:
• Used as a medium of exchange;
• Traded or invested in;
• Used for settlements between parties.
Reason for the Prohibition This prohibition has been implemented for the following reasons:
Regulatory compliance: We are required to adhere to national and international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CFT) regulations, which mandate special attention to risks associated with cryptocurrencies.
Mitigating financial and reputational risks: Engaging with virtual assets poses risks to our clients and partners due to their high volatility, anonymity, and potential use in unlawful activities.
Ensuring transaction security: Our company is committed to maintaining transparent and secure financial transactions, which are incompatible with the decentralized and anonymous nature of such payments.
1.2.4. Other restricted activities
• IPTV and VOIP services .
• Individuals, organizations or countries subject to international sanctions .
• Armament , military and paramilitary goods and services .
• Weapons ( including weapons of historical significance ), military software or any other goods or services intended for military use .
• Non-profit organizations and charities from countries outside Canada , the European Economic Area and / or the European Union , Switzerland , the United States , Australia or New Zealand .
• Unregistered charities are not supported by any region .
• Trusts and foundations from countries outside Canada , the European Economic Area and / or the European Union , Switzerland , the United States , Australia or New Zealand .
• Trade in prohibited and / or endangered species of animals and products derived from them .
• Multi-level marketing , financial pyramids , get-rich-quick schemes , referral marketing .
• Including any other services that promise unreasonably high remuneration .
• Oil , gas and shipping companies based in the United Arab Emirates and related activities .
• Enterprises having relations or activities directly or indirectly linked to Cuba
• Business in the field of surrogacy .
1.3. You also agree :
• not to copy or use any part of our Services in violation of the terms of our User Agreement .
• Do not access without permission , interfere with , damage or disrupt :
• any part of our Services;
• any equipment or network on which our Website is stored ;
• any software used in providing our Services ;
• any equipment , network or software owned or used by a third party .
• Piggy Pay account in a manner that may result in complaints , disputes, cancellations , chargebacks or other liabilities to Piggy Pay, other Customers , third parties or you .
1.4. You may use your personal account number or Piggy Pay account only to receive funds into your Piggy Pay account for the following purposes (for individuals) :
• receiving your own wages and /or salaries;
• receiving payments from e-commerce and freelancing platforms ;
• receiving payments from family , friends or other people known to you for personal purposes ;
You cannot use your personal Piggy Pay account to receive business payments .
1.5. You can use your personal account number or Piggy Pay account only for sending funds from your Piggy Pay account for the following purposes :
• transferring funds to your accounts in other banks or other licensed money providers;
• transfer of funds to third parties in payment for services actually rendered to you or for goods delivered . In this case, the recipients must have the status of a business entity in any jurisdiction not under international sanctions;
• transfer of funds to relatives or friends for personal purposes, if such payments are not regular;
2. Standards for using Piggy Pay details or links to our content
These content standards apply to any materials you use that reference our content, the Piggy Pay name , your Piggy Pay payment details . These standards also apply if you are authorised to promote Piggy Pay services using referral tools or in any other way.
2.1. The information must :
• be accurate ;
• comply with the applicable laws of Canada and any country from which they are published or to which they relate .
2.2. Information must not :
• contain any materials that are defamatory ;
• contain any material that is obscene , offensive , hateful or inflammatory ;
• promote sexually explicit materials ;
• promote violence ;
• promote discrimination based on race , gender, religion , nationality , disability, sexual orientation or age ;
• infringe any copyright , database right or trade mark of any other person ;
• to be able to deceive someone;
• be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party , such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence ;
• promote any illegal activity ;
• be offensive , threatening in any way , invade another person's privacy or cause annoyance , inconvenience or needless anxiety ;
• may harass , upset , embarrass , alarm or annoy any other person ;
• be used to impersonate any person or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person ;
• create the impression that they are related to Piggy Pay when they are not ;
• promote , encourage or facilitate any unlawful activity such as (by way of example only) copyright infringement or computer misuse .
3. Suspension and Termination
We will determine, in our sole discretion , whether there has been a violation of this Acceptable Use Policy through your use of our Services .
3.1. We take breaches of this policy seriously and may take the following actions :
• immediate , temporary or permanent termination of your right to use our Services ;
• suspend or cancel your payment orders and take other actions that we deem necessary ;
• immediate , temporary or permanent removal of any posting or material uploaded by you ;
• issuing a warning ;
• legal claims against you , including proceedings for reimbursement of all costs on an "all costs" basis ;
• provision and disclosure of information to law enforcement agencies .
4. Changes to the Acceptable Use Policy
We may revise this Acceptable Use Policy at any time by amending this page . We encourage you to check this page regularly because it is legally binding on you .
